The directors of Scuola Insieme are Francesca Mattiussi, a native of Grado, and Michael Seaman. Francesca graduated with honors in Comparative Literature from Stanford University and is presently completing her PhD in Italian Literature at Yale University (Connecticut, USA). The very small size of the language classes allows Francesca to follow closely the progress of each student. Michael, who designs and organizes the school’s cultural activities and private excursions, is completing his PhD in history from UCLA (California, USA). The directors bring extensive teaching and scholarly experience to the school resulting in an exceptionally enriching cultural center that offers the highest possible academic standards.
