Advanced Intermediate Intensive Italian

For those students who have had more than one year of university-level Italian but do not feel ready to enroll in an advanced class. Emphasis is placed on oral and written expression, on listening comprehension and on building vocabulary. Learning is facilitated by the careful selection of readings from the most celebrated Italian writers, including poets, dramatists and novelists. A variety of real-life cultural materials are also employed in class, including newspaper and magazine articles and radio and television broadcasts. Students are automatically enrolled in our five evening courses of Italian Literature and Culture.
