Frank Dinie Obituary – Akron Beacon Journal
Frank Dinie, 86, died Friday, March 25, 2022.
He was born an only child on January 1, 1936 to Ralph and Mary (Pichichero) Dinie of Akron. He graduated from Central High School in 1954. He took a few courses at the University of Akron, but later joined the Air Force and served as an aircraft mechanic. He worked as a truck tire builder for General Tire. He then worked for New York Life Insurance for over 20 years. He was married to his ex-wife in 1961, Joanne Azar and had only one son, Frank R. Dinie. He was an avid golfer and had two holes in one and a double eagle. Additionally, he played a game of 300. But his greatest accomplishment was when he discovered his gift in high school and was voted class clown by his classmates. He carried this title throughout his life and made everyone he met laugh. It was his way of serving you, loving you and appreciating you by sharing his smile. He considered laughter a universal language and spoke it often. His mission was to see you smile.
He is survived by his son, Frank R. Dinie and Amy Dinie of Moultrie, GA.; grandchildren, Michael Dinie of Columbus, GA., Rachael Dinie of Columbus, GA. and Rebecca and Sarah Dinie of Moultrie, GA.
