Hemsworth back for ” Extraction 2 ”; first glimpse of many films and show unveiled
New Delhi, September 25 (PTI) “Extraction 2”, “Red Notice”, “The Witcher”, “The Crown”, season two of “Bridgerton”, “The Sandman” were some of the titles that the Netflix streamer teased during his TUDUM global fan event on Saturday.
During the three-hour virtual event, the streamer went all out, providing teasers, trailers, first previews and exclusive footage from nearly 100 shows and series.
The first was âRed Noticeâ with Dwayne Johnson sharing a scene from the highly anticipated film in which he stars alongside Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot.
Directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, âRed Noticeâ stars Johnson as the FBI’s top profiler, Gadot as the most wanted art thief and Reynolds as the world’s biggest con artist.
The short clip showed Gadot fighting with Johnson and Reynolds.
âThis movie is a throwback to the epic adventure movies we all love, and it’s absolutely huge,â Johnson said.
The release of “Red Notice” is scheduled for November 12th.
Chris Hemsworth is officially returning for a sequel to âExtractionâ as he revealed that his character Tyler Rake was not dead by the end of the 2020 film.
He shared an expansion to the climax of “Extraction” which saw Rake fall into a river after being shot. The new footage shows the character swimming to safety after regaining consciousness.
Hemsworth has said he is in Australia where he will soon begin filming the sequel with director Sam Hargrave and producers Joe and Anthony Russo.
âYes, Tyler Rake is alive and well and ready to take on his next mission. If you thought our first movie was pushing the boundaries, wait and see what Sam and I have in store for this next installment.

Henry Cavill provided two short clips of the upcoming second season of “The Witcher”.
Created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, the show is based on the series of books by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski. It chronicles the adventures of the monster hunter Geralt of Rivia and his clashes with enemies and deadly creatures.
After the short clip aired, Hissrich announced that “The Witcher” had been given the green light for season three.
