MDU-Rohtak, introduces degree courses in sign language : The Tribune India

Rohtak: Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) has introduced two new degree programs under the newly established Center for Disability Studies (CDS) from the 2022-2023 session. The Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) has approved the Diploma in Indian Sign Language Interpretation (DISLI) and the Diploma in Teaching Indian Sign Language (DTISL). Admission to these two programs will be through the All-India Online Aptitude Test (AIOAT) which will be conducted by RCI. The admissions process has begun and July 21 is the deadline to apply for these programs. Both programs will provide 30 places each.

Solar school complex

Nope : Deputy Commissioner Ajay Kumar Singh inaugurated a solar-powered school complex, a learning and digital resource center at Murad Bas Elementary School, located in Nuh Block. Inaugurating these facilities provided in collaboration with Renew Power and the Kayantar Foundation, the DC said the cooperation of NGOs and CSR partners was commendable in the government’s efforts to improve the education system.

e-campus placement campaign

Hisar: A student from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar, has been selected under the e-campus placement campaign by Delhi-based Tata Consultancy Services. Organized by the University’s Training and Placement Cell, Registrar Prof. Avnesh Verma informed that Kanika Khurana of MSc Economics 2022 passing the batch was selected by the company. Professor Baldev Raj Kamboj, Vice-Chancellor, congratulated the selected student and wished her a bright future.
