“As the Covid-19 infection has increased in the country, the government has decided to carry out a nationwide mass vaccination campaign from tomorrow,” said the DG of the DGHS.

“Thanks to 32,706 vaccinators and 48,459 volunteers, the vaccination program will be implemented simultaneously in 4,600 unions, 1,054 municipalities and 433 urban neighborhoods across the country,” Khurshid said.

When asked why the age limit for the vaccine was again increased from 18 to 25, he replied, “Many 18 year olds do not have NIDs.
